About Me
Hi! My name is Eunice Yiu. I am a fifth-year PhD candidate in Psychology at UC Berkeley. I am fortunate to have Dr. Alison Gopnik as my advisor.
I study how children achieve flexible learning and generalization through analogical reasoning and intrinsic learning signals. By comparing their abilities to AI models, I aim to develop human cognition-inspired AI systems that enhance adaptive learning and reasoning. I have active collaborations with Berkeley AI Research Lab and Google DeepMind.
Before starting my PhD, I receive my BA in Psychology, Biology and Economics from Cornell University.
